Liberty West, EB-5 Investment
Overview
Liberty West will recommend and monitor qualifying investment opportunities. Current projects include healthcare facilities, solar energy and hospitality among others. Investments will be made through separate limited partnerships. Each global investor who seeks an EB-5 visa through the Liberty West Regional Center will join a limited partnership. Limited partners will be actively involved in the policy-making activities of their investment partnership to the extent permitted by the Revised Uniform Limited Partnership Act of 1976. Liberty West or an affiliate will be the General Partner for each limited partnership.
The USCIS requires that some financial risk be inherent to an investment and third party guarantees are not allowed. As a result, we cannot guarantee the investment return. However, subject to these requirements, we make every possible effort to minimize the risk by ensuring the investment is properly collateralized and that the partnership is on strong financial standings. The Liberty West Regional Center pools multiple investors into one project, meaning the project will be larger and financially more stable than it would be for a single investor alone.
Steps before investing
1. To receive investment information from the Liberty West, LLC, you must register and be qualified as an eligible investor. Just click “Register” and complete the short form.
2. Contact us regarding our projects or any other questions you may have or to arrange a meeting. Meetings are informal question and answer discussions where you can discover more about Liberty West’s projects as well as information on the EB-5 and other visa categories. Meetings are free of charge.
3. Treat this as you would any other significant investment. Seek professional investment advice.

7. Your visa application may not be submitted until your investment is fully funded. To expedite emigration and enable your green card visa petition to be prepared and submitted, submit funding of $540,000. If you wish to secure your place as an EB-5 investor in a specific property you may do so with a deposit of $50,000. This will secure your place for up to 90 days, by which time you must fund the balance.
EB-5 Investment Cost

$500,000 minimum capital contribution
$40,000 marketing and facilitation fee
Legal fees vary according to the scope of work, but are unlikely to exceed $15,000
$1,435 EB-5 visa filing fee, payable to the USCIS, per applicant family.
$380 per family member fee to the NVC (National Visa Center)
Medical examinations are $145 for each adult and $125 for children under 15.
Timing
The green card – After you invest and your attorney submits your visa application, EB-5 visa processing takes approximately 4 months. Processing times vary-- for planning important issues such as children’s schooling, we advise you allow 6-9 months between visa application and the issue of your green card. This green card is 'conditional' (see Permanent Residency below).
Permanent residency – Once you have emigrated, you must apply to have ‘conditions’ removed from your green card after 1 year and 9 months in the US. Processing takes up to 6 months. ‘Conditions’ removal means that all family members have permanent residency and your visa is no longer tied to your investment.
Citizenship – EB-5 visa investors who have held a green card for 5 years are eligible to apply for US citizenship.
